Aquila End Grain

Aquila brings the intricate character of European Oak end grain into a plank format. Its bleached, cool brown tones reveal growth rings and linear markings within each square, creating a finely detailed surface with a distinct architectural rhythm.

Light brushing gives the timber a subtle texture, while soft rolled edges define the planks. Naked Skin Lacquer Super Matt preserves the natural, unfinished appearance of the oak with a transparent protective finish.

Available in 180mm and 120mm widths, Aquila offers two scales for exploring the relationship between pattern and proportion. The 180mm plank has a 16mm, three-layer engineered construction with a 4mm wear layer and lengths of 0.5–2.20m. The 120mm narrow plank has a 15mm, two-ply engineered construction with a 3mm wear layer and a fixed length of 1.20m.
