Crans-Montana Plank

Closely drawn grain, pronounced knots and time-worn markings give Crans-Montana its distinctive character. This Antique Larch carries warm golden-brown tones, with darker traces and fine fissures adding depth to the polished original patina. Each board holds its own variations, rewarding close attention to the surface.

Widths of 100–270mm and lengths of 1–4m give the timber room to express that character. Narrower boards introduce a finer rhythm, while broader planks reveal sweeping grain around the knots. Together, their varied proportions create a floor with a strong sense of material individuality. Hand-rolled edges softly define the junctions between boards.

Crans-Montana is made in solid, 20mm-thick planks and supplied unfinished. Its original patina is central to its appearance, making the choice of finishing treatment an important part of the specification.
