Following a tradition upheld for hundreds of years, we saw our English Oak logs using the same time-honored method of quarter sawing. While this approach may yield slightly less wood from each log, it ensures the usable wood possesses the utmost stability. Quarter-sawn oak predominantly expands and contracts in thickness rather than width, making it a truly magical material. Architectural details for all floors within our English Native Timbers collection are readily available. To maintain and care for this floor, we recommend utilizing Care System 1, specifically designed for use with our Naked Skin Lacquer finish.
