Roebuck Random Width Plank

Roebuck represents our latest breakthrough within the remarkable English Native Timbers collection, meticulously crafted from the finest English Oak available.

Infused with an organic tone and tactile feel, Roebuck embodies gently worn and smooth sanded floors—a genuine, understated testament to locally-sourced craftsmanship.

Roebuck's smooth surface and subtle undulations breathe life into the wood, allowing a heightened appreciation for the quarter-sawn and rift-sawn cutting techniques applied. These techniques unveil the straight grain and delicate medullary rays, showcasing the understated beauty of the wood.

Following a time-honored tradition that spans hundreds of years, we employ the same traditional method of quarter sawing for our English Oak logs. This approach may yield slightly less wood from each log, but the resulting usable wood boasts unparalleled stability. Quarter-sawn oak predominantly expands and contracts in thickness rather than width, rendering it a truly magical material.

Architectural details for all floors within our English Native Timbers collection are readily available. To maintain and care for this floor, we recommend utilizing Floor Care System 1, specifically designed for use with our Naked Skin Lacquer finish.
