Our award-winning Carbonised Collection draws on the Japanese tradition of Yakisugi, using controlled flame to transform restored antique and new timbers into deeply textured surfaces.
After charring, our craftspeople brush away selected areas of softer and harder growth to reveal sculptural contours. The collection spans charred and weathered tones, including Cinnabar, inky black Zircon, white Pearl and pink Garnet.
Hand finished with Naked Skin Lacquer or Restoration Oil, these woods can be specified for floors, suitable interior cladding and decorative surfaces. Maintain with our Floor Care System 1.
