Babington Diagonal 8 Tile Parquet De Versailles

Babington’s Diagonal 8 Tile Parquet de Versailles panel gives Antique French Oak an intricate architectural setting. Within each 980mm square, the diagonal arrangement draws attention to the timber’s changing grain and golden-brown tones. Darker accents and historic markings enrich the composition, rewarding close attention to the individual pieces.

Decades of experience in reclaiming and restoring antique wood inform our makers’ approach. Working with centuries-old oak carries a responsibility to preserve its distinctive character. Babington retains its original patina, with natural and man-made details bearing witness to the timber’s former life. Hand-polished undulations and hand-rolled edges bring tactile depth to the pattern, while Burnished Hardwax Oil Satin lends the surface a gentle lustre.

The 20mm panel has a two-ply engineered construction with a nominal 4–6mm wear layer. It is UKTR compliant and should be maintained using Care System 2.

Architectural details can be made to complement the floor’s tonal values. Contact your Woodworks Specification Consultant to arrange samples and discuss how Babington can carry through your project.
