Broad diagonal elements give Babington Parquet de Chevney its distinctive geometry, drawing the eye through a composition of angled frames and inset sections. The pattern reveals Antique French Oak from changing directions, bringing its golden-brown tones, expressive grain and darker historic markings into focus.

Preserving that material character requires the restoration expertise our makers have developed over decades. Each piece of centuries-old oak carries evidence of its former life through natural and man-made details. Its original patina remains central to Babington, complemented by hand-polished undulations that catch the light across the panel. Hand-rolled edges articulate the adjoining elements, and Burnished Hardwax Oil Satin enriches the surface with a soft lustre.

Each 980 × 980mm panel has a 20mm, two-ply engineered construction with a nominal 4–6mm wear layer. Babington Parquet de Chevney is UKTR compliant and should be maintained using Care System 2.
