Fortnum Parquet De Chevney

Diagonal oak sections converge around diamond-shaped details in Fortnum Parquet de Chevney, giving its dark antique timber a striking geometric presence. Rich chocolate browns shift towards warmer tones across the panel, with changes in grain direction revealing the depth of each carefully restored piece.

This Antique French Oak carries a history reaching back to the seventeenth century. A favourite among our makers, Fortnum receives patient attention in our British workshops, where its original patina and weathered markings are preserved. Hand-polished undulations retain the surface’s gentle movement, while hand-rolled edges articulate the individual elements of the Chevney composition.

The Burnished Hardwax Oil Satin finish enriches the oak’s colouring with a subtle lustre. Each 980 × 980mm panel has a 20mm, two-ply engineered construction and a nominal 4–6mm wear layer.

Complementary architectural details are available on request, allowing Fortnum’s tonal character to extend through the wider interior. Fortnum Parquet de Chevney is UKTR compliant and should be maintained using Care System 2. Speak with your Woodworks Specification Consultant to explore samples and discuss your project.
