Dampier Chevron

Carefully restored Antique French Oak gives Dampier Chevron a soft, nuanced palette. Muted brown and grey undertones sit alongside characterful knots, subtle grain and delicate figuring. Arranged in angled rows, these variations create a measured rhythm across the floor, with each block contributing its own detail.

The oak’s original patina remains central to Dampier’s character. Hand-polished undulations bring gentle movement to the surface, while hand-rolled edges soften the junctions within the chevron pattern. Naked Skin Lacquer Super Matt protects the timber with minimal sheen, keeping its aged surface and tonal variation in focus.

Each block measures 85 × 595mm, with a 20mm, two-ply engineered construction and a nominal 4–6mm wear layer. This considered preparation allows the antique oak to continue its story within another interior.
