Dampier Narrow Herringbone

Dampier Narrow Herringbone brings the individual character of Antique French Oak into a finely scaled pattern. Slender 70 × 350mm blocks create frequent changes in grain direction, revealing soft brown hues, muted grey undertones and characterful knots throughout the interlocking arrangement.

Careful restoration preserves the timber’s original patina, allowing evidence of its former life to remain part of the floor. Subtle grain sits alongside more expressive figuring and natural markings, giving each block its own detail. Hand-polished undulations and hand-rolled edges lend tactile depth to the closely repeated pattern.

Naked Skin Lacquer Super Matt protects the oak with minimal sheen. Its restrained appearance keeps the timber’s tonal variation and aged surface in focus, making Dampier a considered foundation for interiors rich in natural materials.

The floor has a 20mm, two-ply engineered construction with a nominal 4–6mm wear layer. It is UKTR compliant and should be maintained using Care System 1. Speak with your Woodworks Specification Consultant to arrange samples and discuss the layout within your project.
