Dampier Parquet De Chevney

Dampier Parquet de Chevney brings the quiet complexity of Antique French Oak into a composed geometric floor. Diagonal sections meet around diamond-shaped details, drawing the eye through soft oak hues, characterful knots and grain shaped by the timber’s former life.

The care lies in the restoration. Original patina remains central to Dampier’s character, with darker markings and tonal differences giving each piece its own presence within the panel. Hand-polished undulations preserve the surface’s tactile depth, while hand-rolled edges soften the meeting points of the Chevney pattern.

Each 980 × 980mm panel combines this antique surface with a 20mm, two-ply engineered construction and a nominal 4–6mm wear layer. Naked Skin Lacquer Super Matt protects the oak with minimal sheen, allowing its grain, patina and carefully restored texture to remain the focus.

UKTR compliant and maintained using Care System 1, Dampier carries the story of this antique timber forward into interiors where material history and considered craftsmanship deserve close attention.
