Our English Native Timbers Collection celebrates the distinctive character of English oak. Slow growth produces tight growth rings, while naturally varied grain gives each floor its own identity.
We quarter saw the logs using a traditional method that enhances stability and reveals the oak’s distinctive figuring. This careful selection and cutting preserves the qualities that make the timber exceptional.
Elswick, Forecastle and Roebuck are smooth sanded with subtle surface undulations, allowing the grain and natural figuring to define their understated character.
