The Corinthia Hotel occupies a landmark position in the heart of London, moments from the River Thames, Trafalgar Square, Westminster, and Covent Garden. Built in 1885 from distinguished Victorian stone, the property marries timeless heritage with refined modernity. Its penthouses and suites, conceived by world-class designers, embody the pinnacle of boutique luxury.

For this prestigious commission, Woodworks was privileged to partner with the International Design Practice. Bespoke handmade panels, hand-cut end grain blocks, and herringbone blocks were crafted and perfected by Ted Todd’s artisans. Finished off-site to exacting standards, these floors reflect the precision and artistry required for one of London’s most distinguished hotels.

In 2011, during the hotel’s refurbishment, we were invited by the world-renowned G.A. Group to supply our floors.

We produced bespoke flooring for the Musician’s Suite, Actor’s Suite, Inventor’s Suite, Politician’s Suite and the Royal Suite, along with the spa, treatment rooms, relaxation areas and gym.

When the hotel was refurbished again in 2018, our floors were retained, proving their lasting quality and timeless appeal.

The Woodworks floors at the Corinthia have now been in place for more than a decade. They remain a central part of the design and have matured with a rich patina, looking as beautiful today as when they were first installed.
